Hundreds of Children Receive Free Dental Care in Taft, CA

California Resources Corporation is partnering with Taft City School District, the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC and the California Teachers Association to provide much needed dental services for low-income elementary students through a free dental clinic.
Tooth decay is one of the most common chronic conditions of childhood in the US and can cause pain and infections that interfere with eating, speaking, playing, and learning. Improving dental care has proven to positively contribute to children’s performance in the classroom and we are happy to be able to provide this clinic and educational activities for the students and their families.
