Meet the Team

Founder & Principal

Don Attore

Don Attore brings more than four decades of experience in strategic planning, political organizing, and community outreach, with deep expertise in California’s complex public policy landscape.

Throughout his career, Don and his hand-selected teams have partnered with organizations dedicated to advancing children’s health and education. Since its inception, he has worked with Vision To Learn, helping deliver vision care to hundreds of thousands of low-income children across California and an expanding number of states. He also played a key role in The California Endowment’s statewide initiative supporting Boys and Young Men of Color.

Don has been actively involved in Centene Corporation’s entry into the California health care market—the first major penetration by a new medical provider in two decades—and was part of the team that helped guide Centene through its acquisition of Health Net. Members of his team continue to support Centene with growth and market-expansion strategies.

In recognition of his advocacy and leadership in children’s health and education, Don was appointed to the First 5 California Commission (California Children and Families Commission), where he served for three years. His work has also included collaborations with the Advancement Project, The Packard Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.

Beyond public policy and health care, Don manages teams focused on real estate development with an emphasis on ecological sustainability and green energy. In this capacity, he has worked with major corporations and consortiums including AT&T, AECOM, Majestic Realty, Metropolitan Water District, and 8minute Solar Energy.

Don and his teams have extensive experience within organized labor, working with numerous labor organizations throughout California, including AFSCME, the California Federation of Teachers (CFT), the California Teachers Association (CTA), the IBEW State Council, and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

He also helped develop and execute a comprehensive public affairs and legislative campaign for Majestic Realty, securing approval to bring the NFL back to Los Angeles by obtaining a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption for a premier stadium and entertainment complex.

Don spent 30 years with the California Teachers Association, where he earned a reputation as a trusted leader and “go-to” strategist on major political, public policy, and contract campaigns. Following his retirement from CTA, he founded Attore & Associates, LLC.

Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Redlands.

Associate

Anna Radzikowska

Anna has been an integral member of the firm since early 2012, supporting and enhancing the organization’s day-to-day operations. Her responsibilities encompass administrative leadership, financial recordkeeping and bookkeeping, and internal operational coordination.

She brings a multidisciplinary skill set that includes project and workflow management, client and stakeholder relations, business development support, strategic marketing initiatives, and ongoing financial administration. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
